In the UW Department of Electrical Engineering, we strive to nurture and develop creative engineers in an environment of sustained world-class innovation. By closely integrating an established and rigorous technical background with emerging interdisciplinary areas, we provide a stellar program that fully prepares students to enter the workforce and address today’s most pressing issues. The world-class impactful research conducted at UW EE traverses the spectrum of established and emerging areas in electrical engineering. We have top-notch faculty who are well renowned for their significant contributions within the field. Through our commitment to innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, we hope to strengthen industry participation and partnership.
The Electrical Engineering Corporate Affiliates Program (CAP) enhances the relationship between corporate partners and the Electrical Engineering department. From local companies to international corporations, our faculty and students have maintained close relationships with industry. As a member of the EE CAP, corporate partners benefit by access to students, cutting-edge research projects, world-class faculty, and the ability to network with leaders in industry. In return, the department gains close and relevant interaction and advice from valuable partners. The mission of the EE CAP is to advance industry-department collaboration, and to create innovations in areas relevant to the needs of high-tech industry through research, entrepreneurship, curriculum enhancements, and close interaction.Benefits and Membership Levels
