In addition to providing many other services for disabled students, DSO also serves as a resource and consultant to instructors/TAs and staff on matters pertaining to working with students with disabilities. DSS also offers services such as providing note-takers and sign language interpreters and relocating classes to barrier-free rooms when necessary.

Dial-A-Ride is a free van service available to University of Washington students, faculty, staff, and University-sponsored conference attendees with limited mobility. Transportation is available between designated stop locations at University facilities located on campus and in the University District.
Husky NightWalk: call 206-685-WALK
- Call to have a UW security guard accompany you to any location within the campus community; service is available 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. every night of the week except holidays.
NightRide: call 206-685-3146

Operates Sunday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. during autumn, winter and spring quarters. Shuttles transport students, faculty, and staff from campus to their destinations in three zones within one mile north, east, and west of campus.
