Graduate Students Ahlmahz Negash and Nathaniel McVicar have been awarded the 2011 NSF Graduate Research Fellowships.
Graduate Student Anna Dixon has been awarded the Intel/SRCEA fellowship.
Alumnus Jianjun Guo was named General Electric’s Genius of the Day.
Alumnus Ramses Alcaide was awarded the 2011 NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.
UWEE students and faculty were part of two winning teams taking part in this year's Environmental Innovation Challenge. Undergraduate student Kerwin Loukusa was a member of the first-place winning team, while grad student Charlie Matlack and Professor Howard Chizeck were associated with the team taking second.
Undergraduate Students Gennie Gebhart and Kelly Meyers were awarded 2011Mary Gates Leadership Scholarships.
