Conversion of CAD Models to Vision Models
We are developing a three-dimensional
vision model that combines the boundary representation provided by
PADL-2 with topological relationships in a hierarchical, relational structure. In
order to construct these models, we are developing a software interface to the
PADL-2 system that extracts the appropriate data from its internal structures,
computes the topological relationships among the geometric entities, and builds the
data structures to store the information.
