The gowning room is the main entrance to the EE MicroFabrication Laboratory. Here is where users suit up for entry into the clean room, where wafers and process chemicals are packed and unpacked for entry or removal from the clean room, and where users log in for usage on the various equipment. |

Present clean room protocol includes shoe covers, hairnet, lab coat, and gloves, placed on in that order. This protocol is necessary to maintain the class 10,000 level of the clean room. |
