تعريف المصطلح
|
جهة إصدار بطاقات هوية مُصرَّح بها تقوم بتوريد بطاقات هوية فارغة صادر بشأنها موافقة طبقاً للمعيار الفيدرالي لمعالجة البيانات ثم تشرع في إصدارها مستخدمة برنامج مناسب وعناصر البيانات التي يتطلبها التحقق من الهوية وتطبيق التحكم في الوصول ثم تخصيص البطاقة لشخص معين باستخدام عناصر اعتماد مصداقية الهوية الخاصة به و تُسلَّم البطاقة إليه مع التعليمات المناسبة للحماية والاستخدام.
