The Optical
Sensor Group has been established in 1991. The group effort has been
aimed at research and development of optical sensors, especially, optical
sensors based on surface plasmon resonance (SPR). The group collaborates
with several research teams pursuing development of surface functionalization
for specific sensor applications. Since its inception the group has been
working closely with private companies to enhance the competiveness of American
chemical and high technology industry. Currently, the group has a total
of 2 faculty members and 5 graduates. |
