The group pursues primarily the following areas of SPR sensor technology:

[1.] SPR sensor instrumentation for high resolution refractometry and biomolecule interaction analysis.

[2.] Novel optical configurations of SPR sensors (SPR fiber optic probe, SPR planar probe sensor, SPR retroreflection probe, optical lightpipe SPR sensor).

[3.] Multichannel sensing devices and SPR biosensing (SPR sensor with parallel channels, SPR sensors with spectral discrimination of sensing channels using an overlayer).

[4.] Combination of surface plasmon resonance sensor method with other methods (SPR and anodic stripping voltammetry, SPR and critical angle refractometry).

[5.] Methods for SPR sensor data analysis.
