Recent EE PhD graduate Kevin Xiaoxiong Gu received the Best Paper Award at the 57th
Electronic Components and Technology Conference (ECTC) that was held in Reno in 2007. The award was for his paper entitled “Off-Chip Rough-Metal-Surface Propagation Loss Modeling and Correlation with Measurements”. The paper was based on his PhD thesis which was completed in 2006 under the supervision of Professor Leung Tsang.
