The mission of the Professional Master's Program (PMP) in Electrical Engineering is to provide a nationally-leading MSEE for professionals in innovative products, research, and development.
The EE PMP serves the growing need for engineers and scientists in the Puget Sound region and beyond to earn an advanced degree. It offers an exceptional course structure for professionals seeking to expand their career opportunities in the field of electrical engineering.
With a stellar curriculum comparable to the Daytime Master's Program, the PMP offers a wide range of courses, from wireless communications and electromagnetics to signal & image processing and controls. The program can be pursued either part-time or full-time (international students on F1 visas are required to pursue a full-time curriculum), with courses taught in the evening by UW EE faculty members. The PMP leads to the same degree (MSEE) offered through the daytime program.
