Transfer and Concurrent Degree
For either the transfer or the concurrent option, it is required that the applicant submit a letter from an EE faculty member who is willing to serve as an advisor. Application materials should be submitted 4-6 weeks before the quarter for which the student is applying. Questions may be directed to the EE Advising office at grad@ee.washington.edu.
Concurrent Degree in Electrical Engineering

To apply, submit the following materials:
- Electronic Application - online application only
- University of Washington Transcript (unofficial) - online application only
- Letter of Recommendation - online application only
- Letter from an advisor in Electrical Engineering who is willing to serve as faculty advisor in electrical engineering
- Applicants will be asked to enter the email address of the professor, and the professor will automatically receive an invitation to submit a letter of recommendation
- Statement of Purpose - online application only
- A one-page summary of academic background and the reason for requesting a concurrent degree in Electrical Engineering
- Include a list of EE courses intended to be applied only toward an MSEE
