Mission

Electric Energy Industrial Consortium (EEIC) at the Department of Electrical Engineering is a collaborative program between industry and UW. EEIC benefits both the University and industry. It supports the University's educational and research programs in power systems, power electronics and electric drives. Students graduating from the University support industry's growth and development in Washington State, the Pacific Northwest and the United States. The program focuses on excellence in technological innovation and power engineering education and serves as a mechanism for the electric energy program at UW to develop a close partnership with the industry.
