Joseph is the managing principal for the Seattle, WA based office of Dority & Manning, P.A. He advises clients on intellectual property matters, with a particular emphasis on assisting inventors in obtaining patents to protect their creative works and products. He drafts and prosecutes patent applications primarily directed to electrical and computer-implemented subject matter. A current technology of focus for his practice is machine learning (e.g., deep neural networks or “deep learning”) and other forms of artificial intelligence. Additionally, Joseph manages global patent portfolios, offering practical, business-minded counseling and strategic recommendations to optimize value for each client.
