Eve Riskin honored as ‘University Change Agent’

eve_riskinProfessor Eve Riskin has been named the first 2006 recipient of the “University Change Agent Award” by WEPAN (Women in Engineering Programs & Advocates Network).

From the WEPAN website: “The University Change Agent Award recognizes and honors an individual who has had a positive impact on their institution with regard to the climate for women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields, with an emphasis on engineering.”

Congratulations to Eve!

In addition, Eve has recently penned an essay titled “Working at a Family-Friendly University“, which appeared in the “From Where I Sit” column in the Association of American Colleges and Universities’ On Campus with Women newsletter.
