Graduate student Linda Bai is a recipient of the Best Student Paper Award at the 2013 IEEE Radar Conference for her paper titled, “Compressive Radar Clutter Subspace Estimation Using Dictionary Learning.” Linda is advised by Professor Sumit Roy.
Linda’s research applies compressive sensing and dictionary learning to space time adaptive processing (STAP) for radar signals. The approach aims to improve radar detection performance with a reduced number of training samples.
