Mark Chang wins Intel fellowship

April 1, 2002

Mark Chang, a PhD candidate with Professor Scott Hauck’s ACME Lab, has been awarded an Intel Foundation Graduate Fellowship.

This 2001-2002 Intel Foundation Graduate Fellowship Award provides one year of full tuition and fees, along with a twelve-month stipend. The fellowship award also includes the opportunity to conduct research or an internship at Intel, as well as the assignment of an Intel mentor who will be available to offer support and advice during the fellowship year. Additionally, Intel Corporation will provide Mark with an Intel microprocessor-based computer system.

Intel Fellowships are awarded to only about 35 people each year. The selection of the recipient follows the recommendations made by the Intel Fellows to the UW Electrical Engineering department.
